An unintended abbreviated week for the NYRA Analysis owing to computer problems, whereby analyses for the G3 Stuyvesant and Valley Stream failed to appear. Win bettors didn't miss much. Maybe not so exacta players. Here's what happened.
On Saturday, we offered a win play on West Virginia at 4-1 and an exacta key box with Aggadan and Evening Attire. West Virginia finished second at 4-1, completing a $42.60 exacta with Evening Attire. (Aggadan was third).
We suggested Diamond Spirit to win the Valley Stream at 5-1 or more and exacta key boxes with Celestial Legend and India. Celestial Legend was scratched. Diamond Spirit finished second at 7-2 (no play) and India was third.
As for the balance of the cumulative results, again there was very little action. War Marshall, our choice last Wednesday, was scratched. Price saved us on Thursday when White Socks was second at 8-5. We demanded 5-2 on the colt returning from a layoff.
On Friday, we got the required 4-1 on Trick Meeting, but the best he could do was a third-place finish. Too bad, too, since Trade Pro won a 2-1, which would have saved the exacta ticket.
Lots of research, and lots of words, all for naught, resulting in a 0-for-1 week. Our cumulative record in this space is now 23-for-79, plus $40.60. Per usual, you are invited to verify results in our archives.
